Social Media

Social media, nearly all of us use it hey. social media extends from the very well known mediums such as Facebook and Twitter - to the less popular or fewer used ones like MySpace, Wiki spaces, and blogger.com

Social media lets you share your life with the people you love, and them to do the same, lets you view the worlds current events and happenings, and see everyone's view of such.

the world of social media has influenced me greatly. it affects what i experience at school, the assignments i have to do (right now), and the way i interact with my friends and family.

Year 9 ICT

Year 9 ICT, well, this year in ICT we learned a great many things, ranging from the basics like operation a word document, to creating moving and interactive animations on flash programs and Photoshop. these lessons are influenced also with great times and laugh out loud moments. we operated audacity and manufactured our own podcast. We made webpages that moved and interacted with the viewers.

The year has been pretty laid back, we have had a few decent assessment tasks, but nothing overly stressing. these include setting up databases and stock takes, to webpages and editing pictures in Photoshop.

Adobe Programs

This year is the celebration  of adobe's 25th anniversary. to date they have released over 130 individual programs, ranging from the popular Photoshop and Flash Player to the less known ones like College, Ovation and Nav.

adobe programs have always been easy to use. whit interactive displays that engage the user and allow for flowing work. Photoshop and flash are two of the most used and widely exploited adobe programs available. Photoshop, used for graphic design and still frame photo merging, is targeted by graphic artists for its tedious functions and outstanding finished product

flash is widely used for online web pages, for basic animations and other interactive displays. exploited by web designers.it has easy to follow key functions and a good looking and functioning finish.

TROLLS!

trolls have been increasing in number dramatically in the past few years. In Internet Slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off topic messages in an online community, such as a forum, chat room, or blog, with the primary intent of provoking readers into an emotional response or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion. The noun troll may refer to the provocative message itself, as in: "That was an excellent troll you posted."

While the word troll and its associated verb trolling are associated with Internet discourse, media attention in recent years has made such labels subjective, with trolling describing intentionally provocative actions and harrassment outside of an online context. For example, mass media has used troll to describe "a person who defaces Internet tribute sites with the aim of causing grief to families."

trols do NOT have a positive effect on the internet community, they may think that they provide some kind realistic view on the situation, that they provide creative criticism, but they don't. the things that they say are hurtful, mean, and mostly irrelevant to the topic, a form of cyber bullying.
